Redding Pedestrian Crash on Fifth Street Left Woman Killed, 1 Injured
REDDING, CA (October 21, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian crash claimed the life of a female pedestrian and injured one other Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the collision around 9 p.m. in the area of C and Fifth Streets.
Consequently, Redding police determined that the collision involved two adult female pedestrians, who were found lying on the roadway.
In addition, the authorities also located a Ford Ranger pickup truck nearby.
Tragically, paramedics declared one female dead at the scene. Meanwhile they transported the other victim of the pedestrian crash to Mercy Medical Center with major injuries.
At this time, the identities of the involved parties remain unavailable.
Later on, the investigators determined that a southbound Ford driven by a 35-year-old driver, struck two women standing next to a parked vehicle.
Redding police are now investigating the deadly pedestrian crash.
