Comedian Bob Saget, 65, best known for his starring role in the 90s sitcom “Full House,” was found dead at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.
The Orange County (FL) Sheriff’s Dept. said they received a call to the hotel, as Saget was found unresponsive.
Bob Saget was pronounced dead at the scene and detectives said there were no signs of foul play or involvement of drugs.
“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room,” The Orange County Sheriff’s said in an update. “The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”
Saget was in the early stages of a stand-up comedy tour and had performed at the Ponte Vedra Concert hall on Saturday.
“I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight,” Saget tweeted after his Saturday shwo. “I’m happily addicted again to this shit.”
Actor John Stamos, who worked on Full House with Saget tweeted out, “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
Dave Coulier, another former castmate of Saget’s tweeted out, “My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”
