LONG BEACH, CA (November 4, 2021) – A deadly crash on 405 Freeway left motorcyclist, David Verweyst Jr. dead Thursday morning.
CHP officers responded to the reported incident around 4:40 a.m. near Cherry Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities declared 41-year-old David Verweyst Jr. dead at the scene.
In the end, Long Beach officials closed down four southbound freeway lanes for at least three hours.
