DUI Driver Suspected of Killing Man in Wheelchair in Lengthy Seashore Arrested – NBC Los Angeles



The DUI driver suspected of killing a person in a wheelchair in Lengthy Seashore was arrested and booked Sunday.

The person in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a suspected drunk driver on a road within the Los Altos neighborhood of Lengthy Seashore, authorities mentioned Sunday. 

The driving force of the Honda Civic was recognized as 26-year-old Joseph Maez of Lengthy Seashore. He was arrested and booked for driving drunk and for gross vehicular manslaughter whereas intoxicated. He’s being held on $100,000 bail. 

The incident occurred at 11:19 p.m. Saturday at Stearns Avenue and Radnor Avenue, mentioned Lengthy Seashore police Lt. Shaleana Benson.
