One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-80 [Richmond, CA]


Two-Vehicle Crash Closes Westbound Lanes of I-80, Injures One

RICHMOND, CA (November 8, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on I-80 prompted closures of westbound lanes and injured one, Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:45 pm near El Portal Drive.

In addition, Caltrans issued images from the crash and discovered two vehicles overturned.

According to the CHP, at least one person sustained significant injuries from the crash.

Richmond Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the I-80 two-vehicle crash.
