DUI Crash near Cedar Boulevard Left One Fatality

NEWARK, CA (January 19, 2022) – Newark police arrested Salvador Silva-Ramierz after a DUI crash near Cedar Boulevard late Saturday.

Officers responded to the incident around 11:20 p.m. on St. Isabel Avenue near Cedar Boulevard.

Furthermore, upon arrival they discovered an unresponsive passenger.

Consequently, paramedics transported him to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Moreover, at this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unclear, pending notification from the next of kin.

Meanwhile, the three other occupants sustained minor injuries.

Authorities arrested Salvador Silva-Ramierz of Newark for suspicion of DUI.
