A student was stabbed at the Miguel Contreras Learning Complex, Wednesday, leading to a campus lockdown.

Los Angeles Campus Police said it responded to a call for an assault with a deadly weapon, identifying a suspect and taking them into custody.

The student who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
